Why use CB Energy for Energex Works?

CB Energy is ‘A’ rated by Energex, and an ‘A’ rating is a great achievement, right? …..right.

An ‘A’ rating is awarded to accredited contractors that continually complete works in a safe manner and to the applicable Energex standards with minimal defects in workmanship. An ‘A’ rating also means that an Energex audit will be less intensive than an audit on a lesser rated contractor because the ‘A’ rated contractor has already shown that they regularly and consistently complete the works to a higher safer standard. What many developers do not know is that Energex rules allow for the cost of auditing lesser rated contractors to be passed on to the developer!

What an ‘A’ rating doesn’t do though is differentiate which ‘A’ rated contractors sign off their projects quickly. A quick sign off saves all stake holders’ time and money, for example, the Developer by enabling an earlier return of the Energex Bond, the Developers team and Consultant through minimising the ongoing time spent managing the project, and the Principle Contractor through ensuring that the site works are completed and are handed over to the client sooner.

Since September 2014 CB Energy has tracked its Sign Off Statistics to measure how quickly our team closes out projects and how long it takes for Energex to complete their processes and take responsibility for their assets.

Since 2014 the CB Energy team have averaged 7.43 calendar days or just one working week from switching and energising the works to packaging the as-constructed information and submission of the completion package to Energex for assessment.

Once Energex receive our information it takes a further 17.24 calendar days for Energex to process the paperwork and perform a final product audit.

Due to 91.4% of our projects being audited by Energex with nil CB Energy defects we receive the COA or Certificate of Acceptance within a further 12.66 calendar days allowing the developer to request the return of the bond.
Which means on average across all of our projects it takes 37.33 calendar days or just over a month to close out an Energex project. Another example of the outstanding work completed by the CB Energy team and just one of the many reasons leading Developers choose CB Energy for their Energex works.
